Jean A. Giebink

Jean A. Giebink passed away on November 17, 2017 after a long illness. She was born in Waupun, Wisconsin on August 17, 1938 to Will and Sue Giebink. Jean graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin with a B.S in Social Work in 1960 and graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with a MSSA in Social Administration in 1964. She was a former director of Lake County Human Services and a former social program administrator of Medina County Services. Jean worked for over 30 years in the Ohio public welfare sector and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1998,
She is survived by her partner of over 40 years, Jeri-Lynn Kellogg; brothers, John and wife Pat, Jerry and wife Nikki, four nephews, two nieces and their families, and many great nieces and nephew. The family wants to especially thank Anna Neiderman, RN and Sherrie Vogel, CNA of Legacy hospice, they are exceptional. Thanks also to Right at Home in caregiver assistance. Cremation has already taken place.
