Jean Louise (Pierce) Garcia

Jean L. Garcia born 10-02-1950 in Durango, CO passed away June 7, 2018 in Rio Rancho, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Margaret Pierce; and her daughter, Stacy Hill.
Jean retired from Qwest Communications in 2001 after 30 years of service. She held numerous job titles starting as an operator in Durango, and retired as a Plant Line Assigner in Albuquerque. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the La Plata Chapter 83 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Ruben Garcia; sister, Mary Alice Pierce Crowther of Prescott Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Alexandria and Richard Hill; stepchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Pamela and Thad Garcia; step-grandchildren, Vanessa Duran, Christen and Ruben Vargas, Tiyanna Garcia, Anthony Joseph Garcia, Santana Benito, Tiana Benito (deceased).
