Javier A. Lucero, age 36, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He is survived by his mother, Kathy B. Lucero of Albuquerque, NM; father, Alex Dawson; brothers, Alex Dawson III, and Uhuru Dawson, all of North Carolina; his aunt, Rosalinda Karolek of Wheaton, IL; Carla Byrne of Palo Alto, CA; Eric Karolek; Marisa Karolek of Illinois; cousin, Alisha Church; and best friend, Rene Ramirez of Las Vegas, NM. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe A. and Dora Lucero.
Mass will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE - Albuquerque, NM 87109, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque.
