Jason Romero

Jason Romero, age 37, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He is survived by his son, Joseph Romero; parents, Octaviano and Jeanette Orosco; sister, Susana Bosley and husband, Chad; nephew, Joshua Bosley; niece, Amelia Bosley; grandmother, Beatrice Romero; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. Jason was born in November, 1979 in Albuquerque. He worked as a driver for Western Refinery's for several years. Recently Jason had begun working as a barber. Jason enjoyed watching his 15 year old son play basketball and listening to him sing. He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He was very out-going, always making those around him laugh. Jason always tried to bring family together and was the first one to offer a hug. He was very fast-thinking with jokes and always having something to say. Jason was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH- Lomas. Cremation will follow. Honorary Pallbearers will be Frank Romero, Nathan Chavarria, Michael Montoya, Patrick Romero, Jacob Romero, Tom Cook, Pat Jenkins, Sonny Jaramillo, and Chad Bosley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
