Janis Wainright

Janis Findlay Wainright, age 75, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, since 1994, went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2025. Janis worked in the banking industry since 1968, starting as a bank teller while completing her undergraduate degree at U.C.L.A. She subsequently earned a graduate degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. She first retired as a senior vice president at Wells Fargo Bank in Albuquerque and then returned to banking and retired a second time as an executive vice president at Sunrise Bank of Albuquerque. Janis was a long time member and Sunday school teacher of three, four, and five year old children at Hoffmantown Church. She also volunteered for many years as a reading tutor for second and third grade students at Georgia O'Keeffe elementary school. She is survived by her sister and brother in law, Debra and Ron Frigulti, of Oregon.

Cremation has taken place and at her request, there will be no memorial service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Samaritan's Purse P.O. Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607-3000.
