Janice S. Gordon

A Resident of Albuquerque for 54 years, passed away peacefully in her home on September 18, 2013. Born in Houston, Texas, where she received her primary and secondary education before attending SMU University. Married in 1953 to William, her husband of 53 years, who preceded her in death. They resided in Texas and California prior to moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is survived by her sons, Gary Lee Gordon, and wife, Catherine, of Plano, Texas, Wayne Ira Gordon of Placitas, New Mexico, Barry Edmund Gordon and wife, Kimberly, of Tempe, Arizona and Marc Alan Gordon of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Also survived by the lights of her life, grandchildren, Jefferey Andrew Gordon, Rebecca Anne Rockwell and husband, Richie, Katie Michelle Stadler and husband, Matthew; great grandchildren, William, Emme Cate and Huck Stadler, Caroline and Charles Rockwell, Collin and Dylan Gordon and Kevin Shipley and Matthew Lee Gordon. Services will be held Friday, September 20, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana Blvd. NE. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd S.E. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to be made to the charity of your choice.
