Janette Perez

Janette Perez, 69, passed away on September 30, 2023, of complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Janette led a happy life with family, friends, and her pets. Her favorite pastimes were camping and spending time with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her everything. She always made time for their games and activities. She loved being a "Nana".

Janette is preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Virginia Sanchez and sister JoAnn Marksberry. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Perez Sr., children Christine Perea and husband Joseph Rinaldi, Mark Perea, Melissa Mercer and husband Marvin Nials, Lawrence Perez Jr, and Bernadette Perez, grandchildren Nicholas (Shae), Monique (Corey), Elijah, Noah, and Giana, great-grandchildren Noah, Olivia, Jeremiah, and a baby girl on the way, her sister Gloria Gohmann and husband Gene, sister in law Theresa Lovato and husband Andrew, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo on October 16, 2023. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by a mass. The funeral will be at Mount Calvery Cemetery in Albuquerque at noon. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren,

great-grandchildren, goddaughter Aubrey, and grand-nephew Jason.
