Jane Thornburg

Jane Thornburg, 83, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, was called to heaven on February 27, 2022. She was born on July 17, 1938 in Dallas, NC, born to Samuel and Evelyn Bundy. Jane enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She loved warm weather and clear blue sunny skies. As a military wife, Jane lived in many places but moved to Albuquerque in 1969 and made New Mexico her home. She was married for 64 years and is survived by her husband Daniel Thornburg; son Dan Thornburg and wife Norma, daughter Mary Rice and husband Len; grandchildren Christopher Pierre and wife Crystal, Brian Thornburg, Danielle Postel and husband Scott, Jacob Rice, Joshua Rice and wife Caitlynn. She was blessed with eight great grandchildren, Xander and Isabelle Pierre, Brayden, Brooklyn and Brinley Postel, Bentley and Malania Thornburg, and Elijah Rice. Jane was preceded in death by her daughter Evelyn Ruth Thornburg and son Thomas Carlton Thornburg. A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the MS Society.
