Jane B. Glenn, 93, passed away in Albuquerque, NM, on February 13, 2018. She is survived by five children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Glenn, in 2011. Jane was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois, the daughter to Edward and Freda Wingert, and the sister to Jack Wingert. After graduation from nursing college, Jane Wingert married Paul Glenn, of Ashton, Illinois, a USAF bomber pilot who served active duty in the Mediterranean theater during WWII until retirement in 1964, followed by service in the US Department of State as a foreign service intelligence officer until retirement in 1975. As a mission critical supporting spouse, Jane lived, travelled, volunteered, and raised the Glenn family in Germany, North Africa, South Africa, the Middle East, and Washington DC. After retirement in 1975 the Glenn family settled in Albuquerque where Jane's loving support and engagement with her family, friends, and charitable organizations continued. A funeral mass will be held for Jane B. Glenn on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at the Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM.
