Jane S. (Shafer) Deyo
March 31, 1924 — May 21, 2017
Jane Shafer Deyo age 93, of Rio Rancho, passed away May 21, 2017, with her daughters by her side. She is survived by them, Susan Lange and Barbara Marks (William); four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Jane was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Blind Friends and Blue River Cowbelles.
She and her husband, Bob were 1993 Eagar, Arizona Citizens of the year for their community involvement. Their home was always open and Jane believed in good hospitality, so she fed everyone who came. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Deyo and her brother, William Gleason, both in 2011.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Lutheran Church, 305 Unser Blvd NE Rio Rancho, NM. Services and burial at Blue, AZ are pending.
