Jane Brown

Jane Brown, age 88, of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018.

She was a member of the Junior League, the Four Hills Women's Golf Association and spent time volunteering at the Bernalillo County Indian Hospital. She graduated from Oklahoma University, which is where she met her husband, Charles. They later married in Santa Fe, and settled in Albuquerque once he returned from the Korean War.  In 1969, Jane and Charles formed Charlie Brown Insurance Inc., and sold it after 35 years of business. They enjoyed their retirement by spending time at their second home in Pagosa Springs, CO, in which they frequently enjoyed golfing and skiing until their late 70’s.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles Brown; and daughter, Polly Brown.  Jane is survived by her son, Obie Brown.  Jane will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018, 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Canyon Golf Club, 911 4 Hills Road SE, Albuquerque, NM    87123.
