Jan Lee Schoeneman

Jan Lee Schoeneman passed away peacefully January 11, 2022 at 66 years.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Lucia, of 26 years, and brothers, Mark (Marsha), Jeff (Lorraine), and Barry (Paula), and his life time friend Marty O'Malley. Born in Seattle Washington June 7, 1955, he lived in Red Bluff, CA where he graduated from high school and shortly thereafter got his BSEE. He began working at Sandia National Labs in 1976 where he earned his MSEE and retired in December of 2011 after more than 35 years.

Jan was generous beyond words and was a very friendly guy with a great smile. Loved mathematics and would always be willing to go into his dissertations about the number zero or prime numbers or Euler's theorem, if you had the time. While he was able, he enjoyed boating, fishing and building some very unique furniture from the cedar on his property in the East Mountains. Later he became a master at backgammon. He traveled the world and now he travels in eternity. We love you Jan, be at peace.
