Jan Qualley Morgan

Jan Qualley Morgan died following a brief illness Friday evening, May 15, 2015. She was 57. Jan was born July 20, 1957 in Iowa City, Iowa, to Charles and Betty Qualley. She married Scott Morgan in Boulder, Colorado, Oct. 17, 1987. They were divorced in 1998. She moved to Albuquerque from Indiana, Pennsylvania in 2000. She graduated from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado and received a BA degree in Elementary Education from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. She was a long time travel agent and was manager of the family owned travel agency in Pennsylvania and later worked as an agent with Pavlus Travel and Rio Grande Travel in Albuquerque. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her dogs. She was preceded in death by her mother and her younger brother, John, and is survived by her son Shane and her father, both of Albuquerque. A memorial service will be held at The Church of the Good Shepherd, UCC, 7834 Tennyson St., NE, Albuquerque on Friday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the music program at Church of the Good Shepherd.
