James "Jim" Klar

James Klar "Jim", 90, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called to his eternal resting place on May 15, 2022 after a short illness and surrounded by loved ones.

Jim was born on March 4, 1932 in La Crosse, WI, to John and Sakie Klar. He is survived by the love of his life, Carol Klar; sons, Mark Klar, Eric Klar, James Klar; daughter, Suzette McKnight; step-daughter, Stephanie Melton; and step-son, Scott Stokes. He was predeceased in death by his son, Jon Klar.

Jim served in the Air Force from 1951 - 1977 and later worked and retired from the Social Security Administration. In retirement, Jim loved to travel, do puzzles and watch all types of sports. His smile, random singing and whistling will be missed.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.   A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
