James Bradley "Brad" Vaughn, 57, beloved husband, father and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on February 24, 2018. He was born and raised in Richardson, TX and was the only child of Jimmie and Easter Vaughn.
Brad was an avid bird watcher and maintained his life list as well as local and state listings of all the birds he had ever seen.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Vaughn. He is survived by his wife, Maria Vaughn; mother; Easter Vaughn; daughters, Helen Vaughn and Victoria Vaughn; son, Christopher Hernandez; grandchildren, Jacob Vaughn, Christopher Hernandez, Jr., Alexus Hernandez and Michael Hernandez.
Brad practiced in the areas of business, corporate, estate planning and probate law in Albuquerque since September, 1990.
Mr. Vaughn graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 with a B.B.A. in accounting as well as a B.A. in economics with high honors. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985.
From August 1987 through August 1990, Mr. Vaughn was a staff attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Prior to his employment by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mr. Vaughn practiced law in El Paso, Texas in the area of securities, corporate and banking law, as well as general business representation
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont St. NE.
