James W. Stapp

James W. Stapp passed peacefully amongst loving family members on Friday, February 11, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM.
Jim was born on July 4, 1928, in Vero Beach, Florida. While in the Air Force he was stationed in Albuquerque where he met and married Suzanne. Jim and Suzanne moved to Los Alamos where they were active in the community while raising a family. She preceded him in death and passed away in 2009.

Over the years Jim was active in Scouting, local conservation, and regularly with his Church. Following retirement, he was a frequent volunteer at The United Church Thrift Shop and White Rock Seniors Center, where he made many friends.
He is survived by his son, Lee Stapp; daughter, Lynne Stapp; foster-son, Jeff Brode; granddaughters, Shoshana, and Sarah; and great-grandsons, Jordan, and Jacob.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, 2:00 p.m., The United Church, 2525 Canyon Rd, Los Alamos, NM 87544.
