James F. "Jim" Nary, 78, died March 16, 2016. Jim, who was known for his keen sense of humor, will be missed by his family that held him so dearly. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Nancy; his children Scott Nary and fiance Mary Hampton; April Gillen and husband Scott; grandchildren Peter, Paul, Lauren, Heather, Amber, Lindsey and Sarah; five great-grandchildren; his sister, Laura May and husband Ed and many other family and friends. Jim was born in New York where he graduated from Concordia Prepatory School and attended the college as well. Jim served our country in the United States Air Force, including tours in Vietnam, The Phillipines, Japan, Germany and England before retiring after 22 years. Jim and Nancy raised and trained Dobermans in Germany and were active in the pet industry in Albuquerque before final retirement in 2000. A celebration of life will be Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with burial to follow at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood.
