James P. Nally, 92, died at his home in Edgewood, New Mexico on November 30, 2015.
Mr. Nally was born in Morristown, New Jersey in June 1923 to Joseph and Elizabeth Nally. A 1942 graduate of Morristown High School, he was noted for his outstanding performance on both the baseball and basketball teams. After an honorable discharge from the United States Navy he pursued a successful career spanning 46 years, 41 at Bell Telephone Laboratories and subsequently with Bellcore. He relocated with his wife to New Mexico in 1999.
Mr. Nally was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Bette Guinter Nally, and his brother Joseph. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen of Stanley, NM; his son James, of Edgewood, NM; his sister-in-law, Barbara GuinterThibault; as well as nieces and nephews.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Child in Tijeras, NM, with interment at St. Vincent Cemetery, Madison, NJ, at a date yet to be determined.
