James "Tom" McWilliams

James "Tom" McWilliams, 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on November 6, 2024. Tom was born in Indianapolis, IN in 1938. He was number four of eleven children. He is preceded in death by his parents, one older brother, and one older sister. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara; four children: Sean McWilliams and his wife Susan; Megan Ratliff and her husband Brent; James; and Patrick and his wife Jennifer; six grandchildren: Colin and his wife Alexis, Keith, Justin, Bailey, Ashley, and Richie; and 4 great-grandchildren; Braden, Grace, Charlotte, and Nora. He enjoyed a long career as an aeronautical engineer and defense contractor. He loved visiting the family cabin in Chama, NM, and driving his vintage Thunderbirds.

A memorial service and reception will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:00 am at FRENCH-Wyoming, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE.
