James "Jim" McClintock, age 69, of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014. He was born on February 18, 1945 to Ralph "Mac" and Hilda (Barrass) McClintock in Hartford City, IN. The family moved for a short time to Chicago and later to Fort Collins, CO where Ralph was working for Dixon Paper Company and later came to Albuquerque where he opened a branch for Dixon Paper. Ralph took a promotion to Assistant Manager and the family moved to Denver where Jim graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1963. After graduation, he moved to St. Louis, MO where he joined the US Navy and served for two years. After his discharge, he went to work for RobertShaw Controls Company for 10 years and then returned to Albuquerque to work with his father at McClintock Paper Company where he worked until this year when he retired in January. He enjoyed playing golf at Tanoan Country Club, anything related to fast cars and was a long time Phoenix Cardinals fan. Jim is survived by his wife Debbie of Albuquerque, daughters: Karyn McClintock of Scottsdale, AZ and Kelly Hedges and husband Paul of Albuquerque and his grandchildren: Gabriel Vincent and Samuel James Buldra of Scottsdale and Sydney Rae and Jack Walter Hedges of Albuquerque and his step-son: Aaron Jachter and his wife Candra, step-daughter: Dawn Jachter and her son Dylan. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Karen Boston and niece Gayle Mae. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH-Wyoming. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central New Mexico, . Special thanks to the caregivers, staff and doctors at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice for their loving care of our husband, father and family during this time.
