James Rey Jojola, 39, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2017. He was a Navy veteran. Survived by parents, Jennie (Salas) Jojola and Phillip J. Jojola; sisters, Jennifer M. Jojola, Catherine R. Jojola; grandfather, Lorenzo R. Jojola; grandmother, Charlotte G. Salas; nephews, Luke Jojola Mounts, Mark Jojola Mounts, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Leo M. Salas, and grandmother, Irma H. Jojola. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 4 at 10:00 a.m. at San Clemente Catholic Church, 244 Luna Ave SE, Los Lunas, NM, where a Rosary will also be recited at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held on Friday, January 5, at 9:45 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in James's name to the University of New Mexico Cancer Center, 1201 Camino de Salud, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
