James L. Hausman
February 6, 1937 — August 18, 2017
Jim Hausman, 80, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was called home on August 18, 2017. He entered this world on February 6, 1937 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, born to Byron and Alice Hausman. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Hausman; daughter, Melanie Landes from New Mexico; son, Grayson Hausman and wife, Karen Hausman from Florida; son, Jim Hausman II and wife, Barb Hausman from Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren, Jim Hausman III, Jeremy Hausman, Joshua Hausman, Luke Hausman from Pennsylvania, Gwenn Black from Florida, and Chase Landes from New Mexico; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Jim served eight years in the Marines Corp. He was employed by Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp in Pennsylvania for 25 years, then hired by Intel Corporation and worked for eight years as Sr. Facilities Engineer in New Mexico, and lastly he took a position with Bridgers & Paxton Consulting for 10 years located in New Mexico. He retired in October 2013 at the age of 76. Jim was a member of Mesa Baptist Church in Rio Rancho.
