James Lewis Guthrie

Jim took a full breath of air with the Lord in Heaven on April 25, 2021, after enjoying food and fellowship with his family. Jim was a servant of the Lord, social and caring, never complained, and loved kids. His life and actions radiated LOVE. Preceded in death by parents Robert Marshall and Marjorie Marie Guthrie; brother Robert (Bobby) Guthrie and sister Anne McFall.

Survived by his wife of nearly 61 years Mary Guthrie; brothers Lowell Guthrie (Lin), Winston Guthrie, and Marshall Guthrie (Molly); children James Philip Guthrie (Missy) and David Guthrie (Kathleen); grandchildren Sean Guthrie (Jennifer), Kayla Scheer (Sidney), and Austyn Guthrie; and great-grandchildren Connor & Ryan Guthrie and Andylev & Aria Scheer.

A Service for Jim will take place at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd., on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 11:00am.
