Jim was born March 2, 1938 in Billings, Oklahoma. He died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 86.
He grew up in Billings, was a member of the Army National Guard until 1963, graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1963 and moved to Albuquerque where he met and married his wife, Gussie M. He was also an accomplished wood worker that designed and completed many beautiful projects for friends and family. He was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan and cheered them on to the end!
