James A. Gray

James A. Gray passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the age of 83. He was born in New York City on August 11, 1930 to Ann and James Gray. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. For 33 years, Jim worked for the Metropolitan Transit Authority in NYC. James brought his wife and family to Albuquerque in 1996. He belonged to Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn; and his sons, James, John and his wife Kim, and Brian; and two grandchildren, Mary and Will. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren including Erin Harding. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, 9:30 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix NE, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
