James Hall

October 31, 1940 — February 23, 2025

James Hall, age 84, passed away on February 23, 2025, following a brief battle with cancer.

James was a man of diverse interests and passions. He found joy in the challenge of crossword puzzles and the escape offered by a good book. An avid traveler, he cherished his visits to Paris, where he immersed himself in the city's rich history and culture. He also had a deep appreciation for Native American culture, which he studied and admired throughout his life.

James was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Erin Brewer (Stephen Brewer); his daughter, Michelle Vargo; and his granddaughters, Hannah and Makenzie Vargo. He is also survived by his brother, Patrick Hall (Diane Hall). His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family created a lasting impact. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

James is now reunited with his beloved wife, Sheila, who passed away in 2021 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in James's honor. The American Cancer Society is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating cancer through research, education, advocacy, and patient services. Donations may be made directly on their website: AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY https://donate.cancer.org/?campaign=searchmedia&msclkid=a8a5e44a6394174f355c838af49eec7e&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Bing_ACS_BR_All_Donation_Generic%20Alpha_11284&utm_term=american%20cancer%20society&utm_content=BR_Generic_Exact
