James Michael Cordova passed away November 28, 2024. James is survived by his daughter, Jamesha Chavez; grandson, Chad Chavez and granddaughter, Brooke Chavez; brothers, Tom Cordova (wife Lydia), Alberto Cordova, and sister Miriam Smith (husband Jerry). He was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Tomas Cordova, brothers Samuel Romero, Barolin Romero, Pablo Cordova and sisters Agnes Cordova and Marie Dorothy Martinez.
James was born September 9, 1951, and grew up in Penasco, New Mexico, and attended Penasco Schools until 7th grade and eventually moved with his mother to Albuquerque, NM where he graduated from Highland High School in the 70's. He earned an associate's degree in electronics from Technical Vocational Institute (TVI) while working at the Sandia National Laboratories where he eventually retired from. He was also a founding member of the Tahitian Noni Juice Original Company. He loved to promote health products and cared about his friends and family. He made friends with people everywhere throughout his life.
He loved to play golf, fish, and practiced martial arts. He kept an interest in politics and social affairs. James loved his family. His long conversations about everything and anything will be missed. His grand smile and laugh will be missed.
He will be missed. Rest in eternal peace Dad. We love you always.
