James Colebank

James Colebank, age 61, a resident of Albuquerque. Was born Thursday, April 25, 1963, died on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He is survived by his siblings, Robin Sanchez, Dawn and husband, Steve Watts, Robert Wooldridge Jr.; nieces and nephews, Tabitha (Goddaughter), Brandon, Devin, Taylor, Evan, Rick, John, Selena; great nieces and nephews; Brooke, Noah, Eli, Izabella, Annalise, Riley, Kaidence, Kendrix, Trillium, Ruston, and numerous other relatives.

Jim was born in Minnesota. Jim and his family moved to New Mexico in 1979. He graduated from Del Norte High School in 1981. He joined the Air Force in 1982 where he proudly served until 1989. He was an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist. He then went on to be a truck driver enjoying life on the road. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, crabbing, hunting, and camping. He played basketball, enjoyed watching sports and loved movies. Jim was a gentle giant with a huge heart and a caring nature. He provided unwavering support to his family. He was always willing to listen and help others in their time of need. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle. He cherished his family especially his beloved nieces and nephews whom he had a special love for and adored them all.

He is proceeded by his grandparents, Lyle and Alice Cutler, George and Ethel Wooldridge; parents, Robert and Dianne Wooldridge, James Leroy Colebank; aunts, Darlyce Paxton and Ellen Baum. Services will be on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. at French-Lomas. Cremation will follow and the interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. with Military Honors.
