Bob graduated from Sandia High School, and obtained Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from NMSU and UNM, respectively. He was employed and highly respected in the aerospace industry for nearly 40 years, most recently by Design & Development Engineering Services. Bob was an Eagle Scout and loved hiking and the outdoors. He was a talented basketball and rugby player and took great pride in his participation in the National Basketball Senior Olympics; and felt his greatest athletic achievement was his induction into the Albuquerque Aardvarks Rugby Hall of Fame. He had a brilliant intellect and a keen interest in military history. His favorite moments were those spent with family and friends. Bob was a man of great faith and though our hearts are breaking over this tremendous loss, we are confident of his peace.
