James Royce Bewley

James R. Bewley, age 69, a loving father, devoted husband, loyal friend, and dedicated businessman passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2016. Jim was known for his generosity, fun nature, and business dedication. He will be fondly remembered by his family and close friends for all of the holiday gatherings, the world traveling adventures, and cheering on his favorite sport teams together. In addition to his love for his friends and family, Jim loved fishing in Colorado with his family and friends, playing golf, and of course cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys and UNM Lobos.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam Bewley; his children, Eric Bewley and Brooke Baldwin; his grandchildren, Tryston Bewley, Dawson Bewley and Emma Baldwin. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Bewley and sister-in-law, Phyllis Bewley; as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Also touching Jim's life were his son-in-law, Jesse Baldwin; daughter-in-law, Stacy Bewley; and step-children, Oscar Contreras and Suhali Villasenor. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Royce and Ruth Bewley. A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Church Service will be held Monday, August 8, 2016, 10:45 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 201 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
