Jacquelyn Ann Metcalf

A light went out here on Earth when Jacquelyn "Jackie" Ann Metcalf went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2021.  Jackie was a long-time resident of Albuquerque.  Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Metcalf; her mother, Parthene Sheetz; and her father, Jack Sheetz.  She is survived by her children, Michael Metcalf and wife, Tonya, Jodi Lardner, and Mark Metcalf and wife Cheryl; her grandchildren, Brittnee Johnson, Rachel Lardner, Shelby Lardner, Esther Metcalf, and Shawn Metcalf, and her great granddaughter Leyla Johnson.  She also leaves behind her brothers, James "Jim" Sheetz and wife Linda, and William "Bill" Sheetz and wife Susan, and many other friends and family.  Everyone who knew her will miss her love and comfort.  She brought life to every room she entered.  As consummate hostess, she made everyone feel comfortable.  Jackie was a long-time member of Los Altos Christian Church and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.  A memorial service and viewing will be held at 3:00 pm September 18, 2021 at Los Altos Christian Church located at 11900 Haines Ave NE.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
