Jacqueline Cleveland

Jacqueline “Jackie” Cleveland, age 89, beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 14, 2019. A prayer warrior who surrounded her family members with the healing love of God, she was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius “Al” and Alice Watts Hutton; by her husband, Roland Cleveland, Sr.; by her brother, Patrick Hutton; by her niece, Lori Hindi; great-niece Jennifer Hale, and her step-granddaughter, Heather Everts-Grover (Harry). She is survived by her children, Dale Garratt (Joy) and Arlene Garratt-Marmon (Bill); step-children, Roland Cleveland, Jr. (Laura), Gail Irene Everts, and Carol Ann Kahl; aunt, Sister Vincent DePaul Hutton; sister, Carol Brown (Larry); grandchildren, Daejo Garratt, Kyra Siegel, and Taryn Siegel; step-grandchildren, Bradley Everts (Anita and great-grandchildren Mady and Liam), Daniel Everts-Martinez (Adam), Kayla Ann Marie Everts, Alan Kahl and Rachel Marie Kahl; and nieces and nephews, Georgia Schumaker, Jim Brown (Cindy), Marty Brown (Kathy), Julie Brown (Ron), Joe Hutton and Debi Hale (Steve).

Jackie moved to Albuquerque with her family from Midlothian, IL, at the age of 18 and never left—she loved New Mexico. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, and her family and friends will miss her dearly.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice. The family also wants to thank the staff of Buena Vista Senior Care for their dedicated and loving care of Jackie during her final months.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019, 9:00 a.m. at FRENCH – University followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park
