Jack Elden Meloy

Jack Meloy, 87. Our beloved Father and Grandfather passed away on September 15, 2021
He entered this world on October 31, 1933 in Tulsa, OK, born to Lionel (Mack) and Amy Meloy. Jack was a devoted educator and taught middle and high school biology and chemistry for 37 years in the Albuquerque Public Schools system and Menaul High School. During summer vacations he worked for the US Forest Service as a naturalist in Cibola National Forest. After retirement, Jack was a long time volunteer at the Rio Grande Nature Center. He is survived by his son Bruce Meloy; grandson Aaron Salas; granddaughter Angela Brown. Jack served in the Army from 1953 - 1955 as a Signalman at the White House. A memorial service will not be held, donations to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch is requested in lieu of flowers.
