Jack Edward "Jiggs" Henry

93, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away, Sunday, January 19, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Carla Vallem; sister, Betty Nordeen and her husband, Ronnie; grandson, Jack Volpato and wife, Julie; granddaughters, Sherry Neatherlin and Lori Dawson and husband, Randy. Jack was a great-grandfather to; Jeremy Neatherlin, Jemma Volpato, and Randal Dawson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Henry; daughters. Elaine Volpato and Sally Henry. He was also preceeded in death by his grandson, Jon Tipton and his great-granddaughter, Laura Dawson. Jack served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII as an IBM teletype technician. Later in life, he retired after 41 years working for the Santa Fe Railroad and Amtrack. Jack was best known as an avid golfer and his love for good food. Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
