Jack C. Bass, 92, died December 2, 2014. He is survived by his children, Jackie Anderson and husband, Ken of Wentzville, MO, John Bass and wife, Amy of Joplin, MO, and Paul Bass and wife, Terry of Lindale, TX; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several other family and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Lou; his parents, John and Betty and his sisters, Betty Jane and Bernice. He served our country during WWII in the United States Army. After honorably discharging, he returned home and received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma University in Norman. Jack worked with McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft in St Louis, MO before retiring after 39 years. He and Nora moved to Albuquerque upon retirement and have lived here since. They were both very active in the community as volunteers at the Museum of Natural History for many years and attended Monte Vista Christian Church. Memorial services will be Sunday, December 7, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE. Following the service he will be interred in Elk City, OK with Nora.
