Ja-Zay Simpson

Ja-Zay Simpson, 10, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, was called to his eternal resting place Tuesday, April 16, 2019. He entered this world Sunday, November 2, 2008, born to Lakesha Chaney and James Simpson, in Albuquerque, NM.

Ja-Zay was the essence of joyfulness and life. He touched the lives of so many; he was the light of our lives and the star of our hearts. His joy was personified. Those who knew him, even just a little, have lost a shining light in their lives. He would take whatever circumstance that came his way and never let it stop him from what he wanted to do. He loved dancing, turning flips, and music.

Ja-Zay loved his family and is survived by mother, Lakesha Chaney; father, James Simpson; brother, Keron; sisters, Ma-Leyja, Ka-niya; grandparents, JoAnn and Billy Chaney, James Simpson II, Linda Blackwell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service will take place Monday, April 29, 2019, 2:00 p.m. and FRENCH - Lomas.
