Iva Deena Perkins

Iva Deena Perkins, 96, beloved Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother passed away on May 19, 2017. She entered into the blessedness of eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ. Iva entered this world on October 22, 1920 in Estancia, NM, born to Peter and Iva Moe.
She is survived by her son Paul G. Perkins; daughter Betty Zeiher and husband Walt Zeiher; daughter Paula George; grandson Don Byers and wife Jennifer; granddaughter Kim Barr and husband Rick Barr; and two great-grandchildren; Jack and Sabrina Byers.
Iva was raised on the family ranch in Estancia, N.M and graduated from Willard High. After high school she met and married George W. Perkins, a resident of Mountainair, NM. Later they moved to Belen, N.M and then settled in Albuquerque where she retired from the First National bank. She was a dedicated Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. Every area of her life reflected his character. She was kind, caring and lived with integrity. She is very special and will be deeply missed. She was a member of Faith Chapel Foursquare Church in Albuquerque.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017, 1:00 p.m., also at FRENCH - Wyoming. Friends may visit beginning at 12:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro N.E., Alb, NM 87113.
