Isabel B. Benavidez

Isabel B. Benavidez, born and raised in Martineztown, Albuquerque, New Mexico, on April 8, 1922. She went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2015. She is survived by her greatest treasures in her life: her son, Ed Garcia and wife, Nellie; her grandchildren, Lisa Chavez and husband, Sam, and Damion Garcia; great-grandchildren, Steven L. Mize, Shanay Chavez, Sheila Chavez, Yvaliz Dow, Fabian Garcia and Samuel Chavez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Benavidez and her grandson, Edward J. Garcia.
She loved her garden and loved being outdoors tending to her flowers. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Damion, Fabian, Steven, Shanay, Sheila, Yvaliz, Sam, and Samuel.
