Irene Morris

MORRIS, IRENE M.Was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico March 28, 1934. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the age of 78. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Irene is survived by her husband, Pete Morris (58 years of marriage); son, Stan Morris and wife, Deborah; daughter, Theresa Graham and husband, Paul; son, Flint Morris and wife, Laura (deceased); grandchildren, Rachel Cahill and husband, Peter, Kameron Morris, Sara Graham, Rebecca Graham, Melanie Morris and J.T. Morris and wife, Kristi and great grandchild, Mia Cahill; sisters, Lucy San Martin and husband, Mario, Amelia Chavez, Connie Brill and husband, Arthur, Patsy Haslett and husband, Robert (deceased), Linda Taylor and husband, Timothy and numerous other family members and friends who will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Angelita Garcia; sisters, Juanita Agpalsa, Mary Gurule, Josephine Torres; brothers, Miguel Garcia, Julian Garcia and Juan Garcia. A supervisor, Irene retired from Siemens after 15 years of service and enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening and spending time with her family and friends during her retirement. A Rosary and Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 23, 2013, beginning at 8:15 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Larry Gurule, Johnny Garcia, Paul Graham, and Doyle Burnett.
