CHAVEZ, IRENE M.
Irene M. Chavez, age 73, lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away surrounded by her family on June 7, 2013. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Americo Chavez; her son Jerry and his wife Annette; her daughter Beverly; four grandchildren Keith (Deisyn), Daniel (Marisol), Adrienne (Tom), Michelle; and also seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Louie (Fina) and Candido; two sisters Sarah and Jeanette (Chris); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Candido and Rose Montoya and her in-laws Elifido and Gregorita Chavez. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Americo Chavez Plumbing. Services will be held at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church on Alameda and 4th Street on Monday, June 10 at 8:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the family home, 721 Camino Espa�ol NW. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Association, 10501 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111 in Irene's name.
