Imogene Zola Lewis

86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, October 7, 2013. She is survived by her children, Arlaine Lewis, Elaine Lewis, Robert Lewis and wife, Edie, all of Albuquerque, and Shelly Amo and husband, Tom of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Melissa, Keanna, and Shane; and many other relatives and friends. Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; parents, Jack and Myrtle Allen; and brother, Hugh. She was a longtime member of University Heights United Methodist Church. Imogene was a faithful telephone operator at Sandia Base and was the creative and talented Christmas Shop coordinator at Dillards for many years. Services will be held Friday, October 11, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Scott Lewis, Tom Amo, Jody Reyes, William Stover, James Breeze, and Andrew Breeze.
