Imogene "Jake" Holliday

Age 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, went to be with her boys Tuesday, November 19, 2013. She is survived by her children, David Holliday, Sissie Farless, Glenda Saavedra, and Brenda Sandoval; 20 living grandchildren; and many, many great-grandchildren. Momma was preceded in death by her sons, Johnnie "Pete" Holliday, Mackie Holliday, and Rickie Holliday; grandchildren, Ronnie and Elena; and brother, Johnnie Herron. Jake was a meat wrapper for over 36 years and retired from Smith's. Momma raised seven children by herself. Her life and her world were her kids and grandkids. A service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH - University, with Rev. Judy Maynard and Stacey Kohlman officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be A.J. Correo, Bubba Correo, Jeffrey Saavedra, Dwayne Holliday, T.J. Holliday, and Matt-Man Holliday. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
