Ileana Gonzalez

Ileana Gonzalez, age 68, beloved spouse, daughter, sister, and aunt, was called to her eternal resting place on Friday, February 3, 2023. She entered this world on January 14, 1955, in Havana, Cuba, born to Jose and Dolores Gonzalez.

She is survived by her spouse, Carla Amoruso; brother, Lazaro Gonzalez (Stephanie Ryan); and sister. Jennifer Klotz (Dan Klotz); brothers-in law, John Amoruso (Sue), Frank Amoruso (Dona), Anthony Amoruso (Frannie), Michael Amoruso, and Thomas Amoruso (Dawn); nieces and nephews, Meagan (Sofie Amundsen), Elliot, Matthew, Samuel, Benjamin, Lily, Mark, Carolanne, Joanne, J.J., Samantha, Ashley, Nick, Amanda, Robert, Kessondra, and Jessica.

Ileana worked for many years as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at UNM Hospital. She loved spending time with family, traveling, and animals. She was an avid photographer and was often found with a camera in hand. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A private family celebration will be held later in the year.
