Ida M. Gonzales

Mrs. Ida Gonzales was born January 31, 1922 in Pasamonte NM to Melquiades and Felicita Gonzales.  She was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. Gonzales and passed away September 8, 2017 at the Village of Alameda assisted living facility.

Ida is survived by her sister, Margaret Dominguez and husband Lawrence of Annandale, VA, her brother George Gonzales and wife Jean of Clayton, NM, son Charles Gonzales and wife Heidi of Tacoma WA, daughter Katherine Jones and husband Don of Emory TX, daughter Barbara Satriana and husband Tom of Albuquerque and Patrick Gonzales and wife Wanda of Albuquerque. Four grandchildren in Albuquerque include Avram Gonzales, Sara Aguilar, Jennifer Barrios and Daniel Satriana; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and one brother. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, wisdom, compassion and strong work ethic. She’ll forever be remembered in our hearts and prayers.

Memorial services for Ida are Saturday September 30 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM., commencing with a 9am Rosary, 10am Mass and reception immediately following. The interment service is Monday October 2 at 9:45am at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
