Howard L. Terry

Howard Lee Terry, 92, of Rio Rancho passed away March 5, 2018. He was born August, 13, 1925, on the family farm near Centralia Illinois to Frank and Alice (Carson) Terry. Howard served in the U.S. Army during WWII before marrying his childhood sweetheart, Glyndene in 1947. He and his wife moved to Hobbs NM in 1955 and then to Socorro, NM in 1959 where he worked as a contractor and then as a Facility Manager for New Mexico Tech.

Howard is survived by his wife, Glyndene Terry; children, Neal (Tery) Terry and Cindy; granddaughter, Deneen (Chris) Montano and great-grandchildren Marissa and Koen Montano.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sue Ellen Terry; his sisters, Elsie Goad, Ellen Stookey, Ione Quick and brothers Hugh and Kenneth and son-in-law Glade.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Unit.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
