Howard Banks Henderson

Howard Henderson, 72, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on June 12, 2018. He entered this world on March 29, 1946 in Bentonville, AR, born to Powell and Mildred Henderson. He is survived by his wife, Mary Henderson; son, Howard Henderson and wife, Shelly with their children Jacob and Peyton, son, Thomas Henderson and wife, Alisha, and their children, Zachary, Jason, Shaun, and Olivia. Howard attended the New Mexico Military institute then went on to New Mexico State where he met his wife of 50 years. Howard followed his family’s tradition of military service, and worked his way up to the rank of Captain in the Armed Services. He fought bravely for his country in Vietnam and returned home to continue his military career. Upon retiring from the military, he went on to serve his community in the mobile home industry until he retired from there in 2012 to spend time more time with his family.

Howard grew up as an only child, who found that family was the most important thing in life. As a result of this he enjoyed spending time with them having Sunday dinners, and frequent family gatherings. Howard was a kind and gentle man who worked hard for his family to give them the best life he could possibly give. We know that Howard will live on through his children and grandchildren, as they continue to honor his legacy.
