Howard Groves

Howard Francis Groves, 86, passed away with his loving family by his side, Saturday, February 23, 2013. He is survived by daughter, Beverlee Groves and her better half, Pat Armstrong; granddaughter, LaShanna and husband Chris Hernandez, and grandson, Kenneth and wife Christine Reese; great-grandchildren, Kaleia, Malikai, Kaiden and Karson; sisters, Doris and husband Rev. Leon Davis and Joan and Charles Sexton; long time girlfriend, Florence Brooks; numerous nieces and nephews and many long time friends. Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Groves of fifty eight years; parents, Chester Brian and Mildred Ova Groves. Howard was a pastor and member for many years of the First Church of the Nazarene . Services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, 10:30 am at FRENCH -Wyoming. Interment will follow at Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers are Pat Armstrong, Chris Hernandez, Kenneth Reese, David Reese, Kevin Reese and Wes Wells. Howard was a great daddy and grandpa and will be greatly missed.
