Howard Dennis Briggs

Howard Briggs, 77, of Albuquerque, New Mexico (formerly of Providence, RI) passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on December 30, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Carol J Briggs, devoted sons Kevin J Briggs (Cranston) and Keith J Briggs (Albuquerque, NM) and cherished granddaughter, A'Lantra C Briggs (Providence).

He also leaves to mourn in his passing his sister, Janice M Ahmadu (Detroit, MI), niece (goddaughter) Denise "Pixie" Black, (Savannah, GA) niece, Wanda Miller (Providence) and nephews Ernie Briggs, Hassan Ahmadu (Detroit, MI) and Hussein "Yinka" Ahmadu (Atlanta, GA)

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Julius M. and Mildred (Mason) Briggs. He was predeceased by siblings Julius M. Jr, Ralph N and Carol A Briggs.

Howard was a US Veteran who honorably served his country as a member of the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
