Hilda Mary Floyd

Died peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2013. She was born in Silverton, CO and moved to Albuquerque after marrying Marshall Floyd in 1948. They were married for 64 years and he preceded her in death on September 2nd, 2012. Hilda graduated from the Seaton School of Nursing in 1945 and worked as a nurse for the Veterans Administration for 26 years. She was certified as both a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse and as a Gerontological Nurse before retiring in 1991. She is survived by her children, Lori Floyd of Albuquerque, Richard Floyd and wife, Pamela of Oregon and her adored grandson, Greg. Mrs Floyd was also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary A. Tessadri. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, September 20, 2013, 9:30 a.m., at FRENCH - Lomas Chapel. Private interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, September 19, 2013, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
