Herman Berl Claiborn

Herman Claiborn, born in Jacksonville, Texas on May 30, 1931 to Ruby Bearden Claiborn and George Herman Claiborn. He went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2016. Berl was preceded in death by his brother Choice Claiborn and grandchild Johnathan Claiborn. Berl was a Korean War veteran served in the USAF. He retired from the Telephone Company Bell South and Mountain Bell after 40 years of service. Berl is survived by his loving wife, Vesta (Hudgeons), having enjoyed a wonderful 64 years of marriage; having five children, Richard and David Claiborn, Shellee Stewart, Karen Drye Claiborn and Sharon Schmich Claiborn and spouses. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Berl will be greatly missed by family friends and wife, Vesta as he enters the Kingdom of Heaven. Viewing will be held at FRENCH - Rio Rancho on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. followed by Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Albuquerque, NM.
